To protect the paper rolls from moisture & dust, we usually pack the rolls with 2 ways:
Wrapped Foil: This is the most popular way to pack the rolls. The rolls are individually wrapped by silver or gold foil, and then put in the carton.
We generally ship the goods worldwide by sea. The products will be in a shipping container when arriving at the port. You are responsible for picking up your shipment and Customs clearance on your side.
But in some cases, we can deliver the goods in other ways:
Air Cargo: For urgent and small order, we can deliver the goods to your hand by air, it is fast and the cost is also expensive
Deliver the Goods to Your Forwarder: If you have any forwarder (or friend) in China, we can deliver the goods to their place, and they can take care of the rest after receiving the goods.
Some countries laws have strict requirement about thermal paper image life.Once thermal products have been imaged on the recommended equipment, the image will normally remain legible for at least 5 years, assuming the documents are properly stored with compatible materials under normal filing conditions, with a relative humidity between 45 percent and 65 percent, as well as a temperature below 25′ degree.
All our paper rolls are tightly winding.If the rolls are too loose,when you push from one end of the paper roll,the paper would slide from the other end.Actually it makes no big difference in using,but no one would be willing to use loose paper rolls.
Thermal paper rolls come in a range of thickness from 50gsm to 80gsm. We are mainly using 58gsm thermal paper for our customers now, since 58gsm thermal paper has appropriate length and favorable price.
Take 80mm x 80mm paper roll as an example :
|80mm x 80mm||55gsm||60um||80m||$0.630|
|80mm x 80mm||58gsm||73um||63m||$0.540|
|80mm x 80mm||60gsm||80um||60m||$0.530|
In general, if customers don’t have specific requirement, we will use 58gsm thermal paper by default.
There are 3 parameters to describe a paper roll : Width, Diameter (or Length), Core.
For example, for 80 x 70 x 12mm thermal paper, it means the paper roll width is 80mm, the diameter is 70mm, and the core is 12 mm.
In most American countries, they usually describe a paper roll by “Width x Length x Core“. For 3 1/8” x 230′ x 7/16″ paper roll, the width is 3 1/8”, the length is 230′, the core is 7/16”.
As thermal paper is coated with chemicals that allow the activation of the chemicals to produce a specific color (usually black) when put in contact with a heat source. So the easiest way to distinguish thermal paper and standard paper is scratch the paper surface with your fingernails on double side. If one of the paper pliers shows black,it is thermal paper, otherwise it is normal paper (we called it “bond paper“).
We just listed some popular paper roll sizes on the website. If you are not finding the paper size what you need, please send email to : email@example.com, we are MORE THAN HAPPY to assist you!
Thermal paper is a specialty paper that changes color when subjected to heat, without the use of traditional ink. This effect is achieved by coating the paper with heat-sensitive dyes and developers during the manufacturing process.
A thermal print head consists of a multitude of miniature heating elements distributed along its printing width. It is commonly used to produce receipts in Point Of Sale (POS) printers, ATMs, cash registers and EFTPOS terminals.
